Rajinikanth receives “best entertainer of the decade award”

Ndtv 24*7, the eminent English news channel in India presents its annual Indian of the year awards for outstanding performances of individuals in their respective fields. The award ceremony for 2010 outstanding performers took place in the National capital last night; it witnessed the South Superstar, Rajinikanth getting the award for the “best entertainer of the decade”.
The reclusive superstar, who rarely makes his appearance felt at award ceremonies, was accompanied by his wife Latha. The event witnessed the reputed channel handing out entertainer of the decade award to Rajinikanth by his fellow state politician, Union Home Minister, P Chidambaram.
One witnessed the stage suddenly turned silent after Rajini went on to the podium to collect his award. The calmness and composure of the star made Dr Prannoy Roy, to be in a dilemma whether to ask any questions or not to the star. Dr Roy asked other award winners such as Ajay Devgn, Vidya Balan, and Katrina Kaif to come on to the podium, which observed Bollywood Superstar Ajay Devgn pouring in one or the other compliment to the Superstar of South India.
The podium was filled with emotions as soon as Rajini made his presence on it, because its not often one sees a superstar being so simple, sorry simpler, sorry once again, it should be simplest.
Ajay was quoted saying that “no other star brings as much money as he does and he is not only a superstar in India but also he is the superstar of the world.” Certainly a great compliment coming to one great superstar from other.
Vidya Balan, Katrina Kaif and Trisha were more than happy to share the podium space with Rajini, as they call Rajini sir. Rajini, who as usual dressed in simple attire, received a standing ovation once he went on to the podium to collect his award.
We know Rajini sir is so down to earth but the entire nation witnessed that he is not down to earth but in the crust and core part of the earth. Rajini sir, you are one among many superstars and you would remain as one.

It’s not a surprise that no big budget tollywood movie is without this comedian Brahmanandam. He has been ruling the tollywood from two decades.
From “Ahana Pellanta” to till date, he has been ruling the hearts of audiences with his mind-blowing characters and created history by entering the Guinness book of world records.

Although Brahmanandam was a debut, he has rocked in the movie with a full length role. The movie remained as a best comedy movie the Telugu film industry has ever seen.
Varasudu” – The actor played the role of a lecturer in the film where there were humorous scenes in the college class room between Brahmanandam and the college students that includes Nagarjuna, Nagma, Babu Mohan and others. The scenes were so fun-filled that one can’t be idle without laughing.

Brahmanandam character as Khan Dhada was the real highlight of the film.

Anaganaga oka roju”—RamGopal Varma’s directorial is a super hit movie. Brahmanandam who says his name as Michael Jackson in the film played the role of a thief. Although he has fewer dialogues in the film, his dialogue “I want to meet Nellore Peddha Reddy right now” became so famous that nobody still forgets it.

The film was a Blockbuster hit which crossed all the records in 75 years of Telugu film industry at that time.
Dhee” — The comedy entertainer might not have come so well, if the Chary character was not played by Brahmanandam. The actor has played it so well that the audience, when thinks of the film will strike his character in their minds with a dialogue, “Nannu involve cheykandi Rao garu”

Anjaneyulu” – Although Anjaneyulu remained as an average film, the actor’s character brought good applauses. He played the character of a creative head for a news channel. Brahmanandam proved that he never disappoints audiences in his films.
Adhurs” – Bhattacharya character in ‘Adhurs’, was styled so meticulously by director VV Vinayak that no viewer will walk out of the theater without laughing. The punch dialogues by him are filled with lot of humor. The role of Bhattacharya in ‘Adhurs’ is still bringing lot of applauses.
