'Panjaa' Movie Review [First On Net]

Verdict: A full feast movie. Must watch


Story:
Jai Dev (PawanKalyan) is the king of the Mafia empire. His parents were killed by an unknown person in his childhood. Bhaghavan(Jackie Shraff) moves up with  the revenge mentality of boy and presents him the gun and gives him a name JD. After years rolls JD becomes the king of Mafia. Munna(Adavi Sesh) is the son of Bhagavan who comes from abroad. He is a psycho type of person. Disputes raise between the Bhagavan and Jai Dev wince Munna kills child hood friend of Jai (Anjali Lavanya) which leads to the fight between them and Jai eliminates Munna in the mission.
                             To take his revenge on the persons who  killed their parents. Jai enters his village to reveal the identity. Their he finds a police Paparayudu (Brahmanandham)  who was cursed by each and every person in the village. Jai eliminates a baddie Sambasivudu and make people believe that it was made by Paparayudu. Finally Jai finds the person who killed his persons. How he found him? What is the rest?

Analysis:
Panja is comedy based power packed entertainer. The first half of the movie is simply superb with the action sequences. Though we find the little bit of story in the first half we will definitely attracted to the stunning direction of VishnuVardhan. 
              Second half is the main pert of the film. It is incomplete without Brahmanandham. Though it lags a speed and seems to be dragged in the second half first 15 minutes, Paparayudu entrance make the second half to reach the peaks of its comedy. The scenes between PK and Brahmi are hilarious. Pre-climax  is extra-ordinary and Climax is superb in which Background music is the back bone for it.


Performances:
No doubt, Powerstar made the fans to start celebrations by his name on screen. His punch dialogues, his mannersims, his style is completely awsome. The theater had gone mad for 10-15 minutes for Paparayudu song for his mass steps.
                 Sara Jane Dias is good through out the movie. Anjali Lavania is just more than Item girl who hardly appears on the screen. Heroine has little scope of performance in this movie. Love scenes are good.
     It's no need to say Brahmanandham is outstanding. His scenes with PSPK is hilarious with perfect timing.Jackie Shraff, Ali, Thanikella Bharani are good at their roles. Adavi Sesh has bright future as an actor as well as stylish villain.

• Ela Ela song, Paparayudu Song
• Brahmi's role
• Stylish Screenplay and Direction.

Negative Points:

• Thin story which looks slightly similar

Final Word: The movie is full feast to PSPK fans and good entertainer too. Since, the movie is going to release in large number of theaters with good response it will definitely create records in collections. 

        

Bezawada movie review

Verdict: Don't be hurry wait for few more days to watch it in Television.


Story:
Vijayakrishna(Mukul Dev) is the close aide of Khali (Prabhu). Khali is the person who rules Bezawada running hisd power against the governement. But his brother Shankar(Abhimayu Singh)  is a evil minded person who  hates VijayaKrishna and kills his own brother and Vijayakrishna too.


Getting the news of his brother's death Shiva(Nagachaitanya) who is the younger brother of VijayKrishna wants to take revenge on Shankar and decides to eliminate him and wipes of his empire from the city. The way he took his revenge is the story.


Analysis:
This is the story  between two groups who fights for the upper hand to rule the city. This is not a real story and doesn't have a evidence that this was happened in the history of Vijayawada.This is what we called the cheap trick that the producer tried to cash the craze of Vijayawada.

There is nothing special to appreciate in this movie.Nothing new to watch the movie even a small kid can explain the next scene which is going to happen after 5 minutes.

Direction is worst the director failed to make the audience to sit in the seats with interest. he even failed in handling emotional scenes.For the direction you will definitely beat your feet against the floor with irritation. 

Second half is the highlight of the movie. It will definitely test your patience. Better have a cup of tea in the break so that your headache will be avoided for a little bit.Control yourself foul words may split from your mouth cursing the movie and actors.


Performances:
No doubt to say, NagaChaitanya didn’t suit the role. Better if he tries for love stories and romantic characters. His costumes are good but his diction was poor. He should improve himself action and expressions.


Amala Paul has good looks but her role is half baked. Abhimanyu Singh is menacing as the bad boy. Prabhu and Mukul Dev are alright. Ajay, Kota Srinivasa Rao and others did their bit. Brahmanandam is wasted.


Final Analysis: 
All departments are failed in their aspects. Six music directors had given the bad music forever. They failed in giving good background music too.


Final Word:
If you need violance you can go for this movie. But, if you need a good story better keep  it away..

Solo Movie Review

Story

Gowtham (Nara Rohith) is an orphan and so he likes to get married to a girl from a large joint family so that he can feel them as his own. Gowtham falls in love with Vaishnavi (Nisha Agarwal) and goes on to woo her. Very soon Vaishnavi too falls in his love. Vaishnavi’s father Raghupathi Naidu (Prakash Raj) wants his daughter to get married to a guy with a good family support and so he rejects to their love. How does Gautham convince Vishnavi’s family and win her is the rest of the story.

Performances

Nara Rohith who impressed with Banam is back after long gap. The actor sported a good youthful look in the commercial entertainer. His voice is an asset but he needs to avoid his rigid expressions and histrionics soon to fit such roles.

Nisha Agarwal is good and she has delivered what ever she was supposed to. Her dubbing suited her well.

Prakash Raj impresses in his regular role as a loving father, Jaya Sudha is perfect Ali, MS Narayana provide laugh out loud moments, Srinivas Reddy is good, Narasimha is alright. Others did their roles as required.

Technical Anaysis

Dasaradhi Shivendra cinematography is on topnotch with rich and colorful look. Parassuram’s dialogues are good and added strength to the film. He handled the emotional scenes quite well. He has succeeded as a director and resembles his previous outing Anjaneyulu. Though it’s a simple and regular story, Parasuram succeeded in its narration. Screenplay is impressive though predictable. Editing could have been crispier in the second half. Mani Sharma’s songs are okay but the background score is pretty good.

Analysis

Solo is a romantic cum family entertainer and director Parasuram has put in good commercial ingredients. We have seen the storyline many a times but Parasuram managed to treat it differently with a well-written script. The romantic scenes, witty dialogues in the comedy part, good family emotional scenes entertain us. While the first half of the film is laced with romantic angle and comedy, the second half is an emotional galore with family values and the climax is an asset for the film with good dialogues.

The day had arrived to satisfy  hunger of telugu people in waiting for  a complete devotional and mythological movie. Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest mythological feast 'Sree RamaRajyam' is going to release tomorrow.but as per censor reports the movie had got well. The movie is going to remaind as the best movie forever in the tollywood. 

                                       One of the censor officers expressed his view in this way- "Sree Ramarajyam oka adhbhutham. Telugu cinema brathiki unnantha kaalam ee cinema chirasthaayi gaa nilichipothundhi. Ilanti cinemalu raavali." So this movie is going to be the one of the biggest hit of 2011. 

              This movie doesn't need any publicity from social network sites, no need of fake records, no need of self boasting by celebrating functions and conducting press meets.

Story:-

After the return of Sree Rama (Balakrishna) and Sita (Nayanthara)  to Ayodhya after ‘Ravana Samharam’ and ‘Agni Pareeksha’.  Sree Rama comes to know that Sita is pregnant. When everything is going fine, people speak low about Rama and Sita as she spent one year in Ravana’s place. Respecting to his family values Rama decides to leave Sita.. Sita is sent to the forest and there she gives birth to Lava and Kusa. Watch the rest of the story on sivercreen.


Analysis:

Though it is a familiar story to every one the director made audience to stuck the seats even without making slight changes in the movie.Screenplay is just the same as it was in Lava Kusha. The first half of the film is good with superb songs coming at right points. Emotions are captured well and the actors gave wonderful performances upto their mark. They did their best.

Second half goes in a slight slower pace but it doesn't bored the audience. No doubt it is a great attempt for the director in creating interest to the audience on a well known subject.Songs in second half are even too good. Handling this kind of script is a not a simple task.No doubt the  whole team should be appreciated for their dedication.



Performances:

Balakrishna gave award winning performance as Sree Rama. His expressions are good. Comparing with other heroes in the present generation no actor would give such a great performance as Balayya. On a  whole to say There is no Sree Rama Rajyam without Balayya.

Nayanathara did the best role in her career.She is definetly going to win awards and rewards for her extra-ordinary performance. Akkineni Nageswara Rao has done a good as Valmiki. Hanuma and Lava Kusha are pretty good. Srikanth is decent as Lakshmana and all others did their part so well.


Plus Points:-

• Ilayaraja music
• Direction and Screenplay
• Huge sets.

Negative Points:

• Nothing to point out....

Final Word: This movie is a great experience for the telugu audience and an opurtunity to about the culture.

Story:
This is the story of two best friends Chandu (Siddarth) and  Siri (Shruti Haasan). Siri loves Uday (Navadeep) and Chandu falls in love with Ritu (Hansika). Few disputes takes place between the friends after their lovers enters in their lives. Their deep friendship causes misleads which leads to the breakup with their lovers. Enjoy the rest of the story on the silver screen.


Analysis:
Going deeper into the story the movie resembles Chiranjeevi's 'Iddharu Mithrulu' and Trivikram's Nuvve Kavali and Venkatesh's Vasantham.This is completely sensitive story directed by targeting the youthful audiences So the plot is not entirely new to us. Conclusion has given in youthful manner is which is superb.

Director Venu Sriram  should be awarded full marks for showing  gender differences in friendship and the consequences in an extraordinary manner.He gave a very strong conclusion to the story which would convince anybody. But he lagged in some places for making the complete movie.

Comedy is missing in the movie.Story lagged little bit in entertainment but succeeded in making audiences to sit in their  seats with interest. The story revolves around only four people throughout the movie. The narration doesn't missed its track even for a minute. The director should be appreciated for this  work.

Performances:

Siddharth is handsome always. His expressions during emotional scenes are mind blowing.Sruthi Hassan came up with her natural action and gorgeous. Hansika again  occupied half of the 70mm screen with her over weight. Navadeep is good up to some extent. Ali is okay.

Final word:  Sad news is  that the movie is going to suffer for long-run. Due to the heavy massive competition from other movies. But movie will definitely pull youth class audience to theaters.

Story:

Ram Prasad alias Bujji (Gopi Chand) is the son of Anjaneya Prasad (Rajendra Prasad), a rich man and social activist. Prasad wants his son Bujji to get married and settle in life. Bujji falls in love with RajaRajeshwari alias Raji (Taapsee)  the daughter of Chamundeswari (Roja), a powerful political leader . They get married in a grand manner without any kind of problems. Small issue rises when they are about to send Raji with Bujji. Situation turns worst and and dispute becomes too big which leads to the separation of the couple. Remaining is the rest of the story

Analysis: 
Kirshna Vamsi did his best in making up the story.The movie is good in first half  and creates interest in audience in tea time.He he handled very carefully and brilliantly showed that how silly disputes brings changes in families.  After eating snacks and having drinks audience starts feeling the pain of the movie. 

The characters will start behaving in variety manner they creates a confusion in audience.Then we can get the conclusion that Krishna vamsi failed to handle the story in second half.The movie changes track when it lands in Mauritius. Despite of the comedy scenes the rest of the story forces the audience to sit in the seats.

By the time of climax mourning sounds started in theater.  Although that is the only conclusion, he could give to this story, Krishna Vamsi pumped in too much drama and want to inject the story into the audience but he failed to do it. Mogudu is sheer disappointment on a whole. Despite preaching family values it won’t appeal to family audiences too.

Gopi Chand did justice to his job. His character is different from his regular roles. His mass fans will be disappointed to see him an in a very soft role. Tapsee tried to prove herself as a good actress and she did her best. Though she suceeded with her own voice in Mr.Perfect she failed to convince the audience in Mogudu. At times she hammed a bit and failed to give right expressions in few scenes. She rocked in the glamour scenes.

Shradha Das added the necessary spice. She is okay in her role. Rajendra Prasad is good when his character is soft and humble. But his characterization went wrong in second half which is bad. Roja rocked with her character. Naresh is fine. Venu Madhav is better. All others did well within their limitations.

Story: The story revolves around six different characters with three different love stories. Let us have a glance on that stories.......

Love story No.1:  -------Anand-Archana ---------

                               Anand (Ajay) is a brilliant student but who is poor at decision making for his career. He wastes one year off from his studies to plan for his future studies. He falls in love with Archana (Yami), who is a neighbor of his. She is a great fan of cricketer Vishnu and when the time comes for him to express his love to Archana, he comes to know that she is in love with Vishnu.

 Love story No.2: -------- Raju-Rani--------
              Raju (Prasad) is a music lover he is a violinist who comes to Hyderabad to pursue his career in film industry. He accidentally bumps into Rani (Ramya) whom he hates too much. He believe that she is iron leg for him who brings the bad luck to him. In one unavoidable situation they get married.

Love story No.3: -----------Mahesh-Madhavi---------
                                   Mahesh (Havish) dreams to become a famous male model. He breaks up with Madhavi (Sarayu) and she tries to teach him a lesson by pitching a gay Shailu (Haleem) against him. Mahesh’s life turns into a terrible mishap after that.

So these love stories makes the story 'nuvvila'. How these stories gets the end is the rest of the movie.

Analysis:

Ravibabu rocked again with this movie he created a anxiety in the audience till the climax. He introduced the characters in a simple yet funny way and started to unfold their crazy/stupid love stories in an entertaining manner.But this credit should be given to Sunil by adding some more humour with his voice. Apart from stupidity there is also some sincerity in this comedy film and that angle is dealt well in the form of Ajay-Archana love story.

Some times over comedy creates irritation in audience. Ravibabu had commited this in this movie. Adult jokes like 'gay' is repeated which created some what inconvenience as well as irritation for  audience However, there are some truly hilarious scenes which will make you to fall from seats while laughing. First half is breezy and second half lags a bit in the middle. Climax is simply superb which is too funny.

Nuvvila is a youthful entertainer and comedy movie whcih definitely satisfies the cost of your ticket that may be of any cost...


Performances:

Ravibabu’s succeeded in selecting the actors for his movie. Every character seems to be right choice for this movie.

Yami is just like angle she would definitely get good chances in future. She is a good actress too. This movie has gifted a good actress to tollywood.

Technicalities:

Although Nuvvila was made on a shoestring budget, there isn’t any lack of quality. Cinematographer, art department did a very good job. Editing is clean and neat. Music is fine. Songs are interlaced in the narrative and are good on ears too. Shekar Chandra’s background score is also good.

Final Word: A youthful entertainer is here for you guys. Don't miss it. Watch it right now. Get a small releif from your painful studies and spend 3 hours in your life for watching this movie. You will surely enjoy it...

7th Sense Movie Review

What is this 7th Sense?

Bodhi Dharma (Suriya) is an ancient Indian warrior who is an expert in martial arts and also a very good doctor who could treat any type of disease. He goes to China and saves a village from various problems they had been suffering. He builds Shaolin temple and trains up several Chinese people. Later he dies their for their sake so that  it would be good for their country if his body is buried there.

After 1600  years, China plans a bio war on India. They send a Chinese martial expert, Dong Lee (Johnny Tri Nguyen) who is mastered in  hypnotizing people when they are in his field of sight. He injects the virus into a street dog and goes in search to eliminate a young scientist Subha Srinivas (Shruti Haasan), who has researched that Bodhi Dharma can be brought back if his sample of DNA matches with another sample of DNA to the heir of his family.

Subha comes to know that Aravind (Suriya), a circus man’s DNA matches to that of Bodhi Dharma and follows him. Meanwhile Operation Red will be successfully started by Dong Lee. Now Subha and Aravind have to bring Bodhi Dharma back to control the almost uncontrollable Dong Lee.

Response:

First Half:

Almost all the audience in the theater were drowsy through out the first half.The word INTERVAL had given a great relief to audience. Songs made the movie to go toooooo slow in the movie.

Second Half:

This part is the blood,backbone and flesh of the movie. By the mid part of the second half Surya started to show his power. Every minute in the movie has been getting great applause from the audience. Theater started sounding with the whistles with dialogues and action sequences. Climax is extra-ordinary. This would be definitely a treat for mass audience. 

How is the performances?

Surya- He proved himself again. He did his best to bring the grace for his film.

Sruthi Hassan: She is beautiful but didn't do justice for her job. Just O.K

Johnny Tri Nguyen: He is simply superb. He is the main highlight of this movie.

What's Good:

- Surya Action.

-Villain 

-Background music in second half.

-One action sequence in pre-climax.

What's Bad:

- Songs are too slow.

-Sruthi Hassan is not good.

-Slow pace narration.

Final Word: Don't go for entertainment. This is just a knowledge based action movie.You can watch once.

Pilla Jamindhar Movie reveiw.

Who is this Pilla Jamindhar?

Praveen Jayarama Raju alias PJ (Nani) is completely against education and uncontrollably arrogant and extremely egoistic. He  is sole successor for 5000 crores and he expects that money to be inherited to him as soon as he turns major. But his grandfather (Nagineedu) writes a will in which he clearly mentions that PJ has to complete Degree studies in three years to be eligible to get that property. He also puts several clauses and conditions which will be too difficult for Nani to go through them. . How he completes his under graduation and what changes he faces is the story of the movie.


How is the Movie?


Analysis:

• The story is the copy of a Korean movie titled ‘A MILLIONAIRE’S FIRST LOVE’ and adopted it to suit our nativity. Pilla Zamindar has a good story which as ample scope for providing nice entertainment. 
• Nani had done justice for his job in providing fun in his character.
• Pilla Zamindar has an entertaining first half which races to the interval point even before we notice. 
•  Second half too has entertaining moments but it goes in a melodramatic way as the lead character goes through the process of redemption.
• Some comedy scenes didn't do well and irritated the audience.
• The whole process of college elections didn’t gel well with the mood of the movie and looked forced. Director made it up with a neat climax which also has loads of melodrama. 
• On a whole Pilla Zamindar is an entertaining film with a strong message.
• Second half lacks audience attention with some boring scenes.

How they performed?

• Nani took up the responsibitly of carrying this movie on his shoulders.He  came up with a winning performance. He showed the right attitude and expressions which shows how good an actor he is. This is best performance he had ever given.
•  Hari Priya is waste. She neither has the glamour nor the talent. She is the wrong choice  this role although it doesn't have a big role to play in the film.
•  Bindu Madhavi is reduced to a mere extra.
• Rao Ramesh is fine. Shiva Prasad is over the top. Srinivas Avasarala is good. MS Narayana is Okay. Vennela Kishore did a cameo. Rest of the star cast did well within their limitations.

Conclusion:  A one time watch movie.......

Oosaravelli movie Review.

Oosaravelli : Colours of NTR...........

Verdict :  Worth watching comedy and action entertainer..

What is the Story: 
Tony (NTR) is a typical character who changes moods and colors as per the situation. He meets Niharika (Tamanna) in an awkward situation which leads to love. He falls in love with her and chases her day and night. He gets to know that she is already in love with someone, but chases her down till she falls in love with him.But Niharika is already in love with Rakesh who is the son of  a minster. At this point the other side of him is revealed which gives us the answers for the unanswered. Actually he is on a mission to kill an entire mafia empire. Why does he do that? For whom does he work for? Watch the movie for answers.


What is what? :
Oosaravelli starts off on a high note with excellent intro scene of hero. The hero character is introduced in extraordinary way. The intro is in  such a way that audience expects him to play mind games and wise tricks all the time. But the film turns out to be a love story after that hyped introduction. This part is dealt in an entertaining with NTR, Raghubabu, MS Narayana and Jayaprakash Reddy doing the honors of filling in fun moments. The real story will only start before interval and the interval scene has really come out well. The graph picks up suddenly and sets high expectations on the second half.

Second half will reveal about the hero’s mission and why he has been under disguise. This part mostly deals with the heroine and it may not be liked by hardcore NTR fans. He goes missing for more than ten minutes and the film considerably slows down. Movie takes a serious turn and comedy takes the backseat. Director tried to force comedy in bits and pieces in the second hour but it didn’t get well.
Audience has been vexed with some scenes in second half. Yelango Yalenago song is too boring.

According to script, Oosaravelli is good barring few plot holes. But where it fails is with balancing NTR’s mass image with the hero’s characterization. Director had to sacrifice mind games and intelligent play for the sake of satisfying NTR fans, which didn’t help the film much. On a whole Oosaravelli can be watched once for its entertaining first half, interesting plot and performances of the lead star cast.

Commercially it may suffer because of going against NTR image. NTR city based fans and youth may be satisfied to see him in a new avatar, but audience who expect his mass image and his hardcore fans will not be satisfied with this movie.


How are the performances?It is good to see NTR changing his colors like switching his genres. He did a completely different role in this movie which is more of a lover boy and less of an action hero. He also tried comedy and underplayed the emotions. It is refreshing to see him in this movie. He has to keep a check on the weight as he is gaining few kilos. His dances in Dandia Dandia are good.

Tamanna got a very good role and she excelled in it. Generally heroines don’t get much scope in star heroes films. But this film is an exception and Tamanna lapped it up. She is gorgeous in few scenes.

Prakash Raj got wasted. Jayaprakash and Raghubabu are funny. MS Narayana shared few laughs. Kick Shyam is brief and Rehaman is Okay. Sayaji Shinde’s role is half baked. Harika (Payal Ghosh) gives a neat performance.  


Finally what we have to conclude?

• Some scenes in this movie  in the first half make us  to remember Kick movie.
• Interval fight is main highlight of this movie.
• 'Kick' Shyam has shocked audience with his performance.His character is good.
• Director 'Surender Reddy'has finally showed new angle in NTR to fans
