BVSN Prasad's and RR Movie Makers' strategy has worked wonders for NTR's film.  It was a penny-wise decision to release Oosaravelli in as many theaters as possible on the first day.  Resultantly, he has seen a windfall of revenues on October 6.

Here is what a 1800-theater release can achieve.  The film collected more than Rs. 15 cr. on the Vijayadasami day.  It is a remarkable advantage for Oosaravelli as the film is being screened in a long list of theaters in A class centers and easily available in B and C class centers.  So it is in markets like the US.

Super star Mahesh Babu's  Dookudu mania is raising day by day.The movie still continues to Break the records in Tollywood box office in its second week also. Dookudu is doing exceptionally well in all centers. Dookudu theatres are still having housefull boards on their gates.

Dookudu collections creating a record in Telugu film Industry.According to sources the  first day amounted to be around 9 crores and this is a record in the history of Telugu film industry. Mahesh Babu Dookudu collections have already started to raise eyebrows as Dookudu movie collections on the 1st day in AP were a whopping 9 crores. Getting into the split, Dookudu collections on the first day were Rs. 45 lakhs in East Godavari district and trade pundits say that it is an all time record. Similarly, Dookudu collections (gross) in Ananthpur on day 1 were around 14,32,500 lakhs, and in Guntur district, the collections were spell bounding as the movie amassed a record share of more than 80 lakhs battering the previous best of Magadheera by 22 lakhs.

Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu movie collected a 1st day record share of 44,11,000 in Krishna district creating a new all time record. And in Bhimavaram, Dookudu 1st day gross collections were around 10 lakhs from around 24 shows. The collections were around 25.60 lakhs in Nellore and 46.17lakhs in Vizag. The detailed split and Dookudu movie collections area and center wise would be updated shortly. Even in USA, Dookudu is rocking and it is reported that the exhibitors would recover the total cost within 2 days.

100% Love 3 Days Collections

Naga Chaitanya, Tamannah starrer 100% Love, which has hit the big-screens on 6^th May has garnered positive talk from all corners right from the first day and is running successfully with the packed houses. The movie is getting thunderous applause from the youth and being a holiday season, Geetha Arts released it in the right time.

The latest reports say, the film has collected a whopping sum of 6.5 crores in the first 3 days, which is the biggest record for Naga Chaitanya so far. 100% Love also opened big in U.S with the weekend collections close to Rs. 98 lakhs.

This Sukumar’s directorial is expected to be made with 11 crores and as per the trade analysts, the film has got back its investment considering the satellite rights and audio rights and it is expected to collect an approximate figure of 15 Crores.

Teenmar Creating Records in U.S

Pawan Kalyan’s Teen Maar has received positive response from day one from all the corners and the Power Star’s fans along with the film unit are quite happy with the result.

Teen Maar has received the best openings and has set records in few places. Likewise, the film is said to have collected a sum of Rs 1.7 crores in the first four days in U.S, which is a new record for any Telugu cinema till dates.

Pawan Kalyan’s new record with Teenmaar

Pawan Kalyan’s Teenmaar is all set to witness a new record. Just a couple of days, Producer Ganesh informed the sensational news that the movie is all set to hit the screens in 1000 theaters, which is the biggest release for any Tollywood film till date.

Now, the latest news is Teenmaar is going to be screened 30 times on day one at Prasads IMAX in several screens. Earlier, Prasads has screened Jalsa for 25 times, Puli for 21, Khaleja for 20, Brindavanam for 19, and the recently released Shakti for 18 times on day 1. Teenmaar has now set the latest records.

Pawan Kalyan’s fans are expecting a full dose of entertainment and action from the Power Star and are in hopes that Teenmaar would be another Kushi for the Star.

Ala Modalaindi wraps up 50 days of run

Nandini Raddy’s debut venture Ala Modalaindi with Nani and Nitya Menon in the lead roles has successfully completed its 50 days of run in 54 centers. Though the film did not release with much hopes,t high hopes, it slowly grabbed the attention of A and B centers with positive word of mouth publicity and registered as a hit at the Box-Office.

As per the trade reports, Ala Modalaindi might make Rs. 10 Crores where the producer ends up in good profits. The producer of the film is also said to be getting big offers for the remake rights of the film in other languages. The unit has planned to celebrate 50days function at Shilpa Kala Vedika on 15th of March.

Eega shoot kicks-off, Tamil rights sold for 5crores

Ace director S.S Rajamouli’s new experimental film Eega has kicked off with the shooting today.

Way2movies has earlier reported that the Tamil rights of the Eega has been sold for an all-time record price and now the number for which Eega has been sold out has been revealed. It’s an unbelievable and the highest price so far for any Tollywood film to be made in Tamil. Buzz is that Eega got a price close to Rs 5 crores for the Tamil version which is bagged by a high-flying producer in Kollywood.

Eega stars Nani and Samantha in the lead roles while Kannada star Sudeep plays an important role. The price for the Tamil version of Eega speaks volumes of craze the film generated among the film buffs and in the Kollywood industry. Both Telugu and Tamil versions of Eega are being shot simultaneously.
