Puri Family Special Affection for Prabhas

Prabhas and Puri Jagannath is a spectacular combination. Many a times, Puri openly admitted that Prabhas is more like his family member rather than an artist. Same was seen yesterday at the Half Sari Ceremony of Puri’s daughter. Function sparkled brightly with presence of a grand gala of Tollywood Stars blessing the little one. One attention grabbing incident happened was with the entry of Prabhas

Yes, the young Rebel Star was received with Special Affection by entire family of Puri. ‘That was so sweet to see, how Puri’s kids and his wife mingled with Prabhas. The scene was so emotional as if Prabhas appeared like the center of attraction for entire celebration. May be that is the reason why, Puri and Prabhas address each other as ‘Darling.’ Let their strong fondness continue throughout life giving stupendous hits at BO,’ one of our sources present at event shared the experience.

Prabhas's New Film gets a Telugu Title

Most Prabhas's films have been titled after his character name in the movie - Eeshwar, Raghavendra, Munna, Yogi, Billa etc and his last two films, Darling & Mr.Perfect and the upcoming 'Rebel' have English Titles. Only few of his films have had Telugu Titles - Varsham, Chatrapathi, Pournami & Bujjigadu (not considering Adavi Ramudu).

Now Prabhas's new film in the direction of Koratala Siva has got a pure Telugu title - 'VAARADHI' (meaning 'bridge'). The makers (UV Creations)have already registered the name and it is more or less a confirmed title for the film which stars Anushka & Richa opposite Prabhas.

Prabhas - Rajamouli movie gearing up

Rebel star Prabhas is in a hurry to complete his current assignments before he starts working for Rajamouli’s film. Prabhas thought of completing Rebel movie before he joins Rajamouli’s next film. But Rajamouli current movie Eega is taking more time than expected and therefore Prabhas signed another film under Koratala Siva direction.

Prabhas will do both Rebel and Varadhi movies simultaneously and these films will release in the first and third quarters of 2012. Rajamouli’s film will be a high budget film which would take more working days and therefore Prabhas is making up to cover up that gap by doing two films in a rush.

Rajamouli has kept the details about Prabhas’s film under wraps for now as he doesn’t want it to overshadow Eega movie. He didn’t reveal the concept or backdrop of the film till now. He will only announce those details after Eega release.

Rebel: Cynosure of buyers' eyes

They say, nothing succeeds like success.  With a hero like Prabhas, who has two back-to-back hits (Darling and Mr. Perfect) and a director like Larencce Raghava (with Muni and Kanchana in his kitty), Rebel has come to be the cynosure of the buyers' eyes.

The film could go for a big amount, say trade pundits.

Meanwhile, there is scepticism also.  The director's last two straight Telugu films, namely “Style” and “Don” did not give profits to its makers.  As the result, the director has so far had to rest on the Mass laurels.

In any case, Larencce's Kanchana fetched its producer in Telugu, Bellamkonda Suresh, four times more than what he invested.  This statistic makes Rebel the buyers' envy.

Richa with Prabhas....

While there were rumours about Richa Gangopadhyay playing heroine in the Prabhas-Rajamouli movie, it now seems that Richa is confirmed to play main female lead opposite Prabhas in his upcoming film in the Direction of Koratala Siva. Richa is now doing two tamil films with Simbhu (Osthi - Tamil remake of Dabanng) & Dhanush (Mayakkam Enna). She also is said to have bagged the heroine role in a hindi film to be directed by Tamil Director Susi Ganesan (of Kandasamy/Mallanna fame). Seems like it's raining offers for Richa.

UV Creations will produce this film which go to floors in November end for a small schedule. Richa will have two very different looks in the film.
