Mega and Powerstar's favor to Balayya!!!

Mega and Powerstar's favor to Balayya!!!

With Balayya bagging the Nandi Award for his performance in SIMHA, many favors are coming this Nandamuri hero's way and here is one. This time it came from the mega hero of Tollywood, Chiranjeevi and his brother, Powerstar Pavan Kalyan.

While Chiru has offered his film title to Balayya, Pavan went a step ahead and has given a film itself. Industry sources revealed that Chiru's 150th film is tentatively titled as 'Adhinayakudu' and now the title is released to Balakrishna. Upcoming flick of Balayya under the direction of Paruchuri Murali uses this name to rock the tinsel town before enthralling fans. On the other side, Powerstar is expected to do a multi-starrer with Malayalam hero Mammotty under the captaincy of a noted director. However, due to date problems Pavan is postponing the flick from a long time. Finally, he has suggested the director to the flick with Balakrishna and another Nandamuri hero without wasting time.

Suresh Babu to head AP Film Chamber

Daggubati Suresh Babu will be the new president of the A P Film Chamber of Commerce for the year 2011-12. The post, which is filled by rotation, from various sectors every year, is reserved for the studio sector this year. Suresh Babu was chosen by the members of this sector to be their representative as his family owns and operates the Rama Naidu Film studios.
Elections to the executive body of the film chamber will be held on Sunday. Each sector is expected to elect 20 members and those who are elected will subsequently elect a chairman also for their respective sectors. Other office-bearers will also be elected from among them. The elections are expected to be a tame affair.
Suresh Babu who will take over as the new president of the film chamber told The Times of India that the chamber has already identified some priorities to take the Telugu film industry ahead this year. “There is a lot of potential and scope for the industry to make more revenue. These sources, especially the new media will have to be tapped properly for the industry to benefit,” said Suresh Babu, who is also a producer.
One main concern of the film industry is piracy, an issue they have taken up with the state government on occasion. It now wants the state government to deal firmly with this menace, and book offenders under the Goondas act like in Tamil Nadu. Suresh Babu also added that the film industry was also seeking as a priority, to gain more recognition at the national and international levels, as despite being the second most prolific film industry in the country; it had failed to win many awards at the national level.
He added that another challenging and ongoing aspect was to entice more viewers towards Tollywood cinema. “If the Telugu film industry has to survive, we have to look at methods and models that will hold audiences,” he said

Naga Babu plan for Mother & Daughter

Naga Babu plan for Mother & Daughter

Ever since Naga Babu prepared a solid scheme to launch his son Varun Tej in Tollywood with in this year, there have been names of several directors and numerous heroines roaming in market for this project. Being a prestigious member in Mega family, everything will be planned big and Naga Babu doesn’t want any stone unturned in making this film a big launch pad.
If gossip mills are to be believed, the moment Naga Babu has seen a recent photo jhanvi kapoor (daughter of Sreedevi), he is going mad with attempts in full swing to bring her to South and launch besides his son. With names of Rajamouli and few other top directors attached to Varun’s project, surely Sreedevi doesn’t mind even re-debuting herself with this movie. Let us see, how far our Mega brother succeeds in this.

Aishwarya Rai is pregnant, Big B confirms!

Amitabh Bachchan was on cloud nine when he came to know that his daughter-in-law was pregnant. He immediately announced the big news on Twitter and in no time the news was picked up several national media channels. In his tweet on Tuesday, Big B said, "T 410-News news news!! I am going to become a grandfather..Aishwarya expecting..so happy and thrilled!!!" The news puts an end to the ordeal which Bachchan family had to go through over the last few years. Few months ago a Mumbai based tabloid had published a report saying that Aishwarya Rai had stomach tuberculosis and hence she may never be able to conceive. The report created a stir and the Bachchans even sued the newspaper for such allegations which they had vehemently denied back then.
In the recent times, rumours were abuzz that Aishwarya Rai might be hiding her pregnancy. The sudden increase in weight which was quite obvious during her appearance in Cannes sparked the rumours and they have now been confirmed with Big B’s tweet. Aishwarya Rai is 37 years old and Abhishek is 35. On the other hand, we wonder what would happen to all the films which she’s currently part of including Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine which has been making news ever since it was announced earlier this year.
