Rachcha will set an Example

Ramcharan Tej is feeling confident about his upcoming film ” Rachcha”. The actor is currently wrapping up the shooting for the film rapidly by working overtime as he wants to release the film on Christmas.

“What excited me about the script is that I never imagined playing this kind of a character. This film is an out-and-out potboiler and I will be exactly how my fans want me to be in this role. There are mind-blowing action scenes and many surprise elements in the movie. Sampanth Nandi is a new director and I like his passion and the way he treated the script. He is doing a brilliant job“, says Ram Charan.

Ask him about the current trend in Tollywood where budgets are skyrocketing and top stars are not doing more than one film a year and the actor says, “Yes, I totally agree that our films’ budgets exceed that of the market demands. And due to this, most of the producers are releasing their films with a deficit and are unhappy. Some of these producers don’t even come to the sets. We need producers who are passionate about films, not just the ones who make one film and then put their money into real estate or some other business ventures.”

The actor further adds that “Rachcha” will set an example for Tollywood of how a movie can be made with low production costs and high cinematic value. “Once the film is done, we would like to reveal all the production costs and people can see for themselves,” he says.

Charan also says that the industry is in dire need of innovative subjects. “For that, we have to encourage new talent, and only then can there be an improvement. Change can’t happen in a fortnight or months, it will happen over time,” says the actor, who assures that he won’t take a long break between his movies. “I am going to do three more films in the coming months,” says the actor, who is all set to work on a VV Vinayak film after “Rachcha“. He also has projects by Paidipally Vamsy and Trivikram Srinivas that will keep him busy for the whole of next year.
