Silambarasan aka Simbu's 'Osthi' that is gearing up for a Diwali release will see an audio launch this October 6! Although the fad of releasing a single track before the audio release has set in Kollywood, this movie will see a full album launch on October 6, contrary to their initial plans of going ahead with a single track release.
Quoted STR, "We are deliberately delaying the single because the main audio is releasing on October 6 along with the trailer. So there isn't much time for a single. So it will be a direct audio launch without the single. Four songs have been completed and even Munni will be done very soon".
The team has also wrapped up their single schedule of 'Osthi' that was canned in Mysore for about 87 days! They are back to Chennai and are busy with post-production work on the film and are gearing up for a glitzy audio release ceremony on October 6.
'Osthi' starring Simbu and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles is the remake of Bollywood super hit 'Dabangg'. Whether anyone from the original film will grace the audio launch, we'll have to wait to know. A single track featuring Simbu, Sonu Sood and Mallika Sherawat is one of the USPs of the film and expectations on the audio of this track are raving high...
