Chiranjeevi at Uttarandhra Congress Garjana in Vizag

Newly baptised congress leader K.Chiranjeevi along with PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy attended the “Uttarandhra Congress Garjana” at Visakhapatnam on sunday.
About two lakh people have attended this huge meet, and it was held on the Ramakrishna beach in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.
It was the stage for official merger meeting in public of Prajarajyam into congress party.
Chiranjeevi looked happy to appear in public as a congress leader.

Satyanaryana has been showing keen interest in making it a grand event and wants it to be known purely as a PCC affair. His repeated assertions that the public meeting is his affair and that no one else is spending anything on it makes one wonder if the public meeting’s objective is to make it look so big that Delhi will be compelled to take notice of it.

Another fact that is hard to miss is the slow emergence of the Satyanarayana-Chiranjeevi axis in the state body politics. Chiranjeevi will be the star attraction at the public meeting. Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who was initially reluctant to take part has finally agreed to make an appearance.

According to analysts, the public meeting will be Satyanarayana’s way of answering Kiran Kumar Reddy for the “humiliation” that he had been through.

Kiran Kumar said that if he is given one more year time, he will rewrite state congress history and also promised that 1 rupee kilo rice scheme will be implemented from november 1st. Also 20 lakh new white ration cards will be alloted in second phase of Rachchabanda.

Chiranjeevi spoke on this occassion and said that he joined politics to serve people of the state but realised that social justice (samajika nyayam) cannot be achieved by himself alone.
So he felt the need to join hands with bigger power and chose a national party like Congress for this purpose.

CM Kiran said that “I don’t think we can predict box office verdicts of a movie but i can say confidently that Chiranjeevi will be a superhit in congress party in coming future“.
