After tasting the bitter 'Orange' Charan is back with with an out and out commercial movie under the direction of Sampath Nandi for 'Rachcha'. After that, he might do a film with Sreenu Vaitla.
After completing both these films, he is planning to work with director VV Vinayak. He had already expressed his interest in doing movie with Vinayak in Badrinadh audio launch. Thought Badinadh dissapointed Mega fans Charan has kept his faith on Vinayak. Now its the time to Vinayak to revamp the movie Merupu. He is ready to take up that movie and work on it.The movie has renamed as 'Cherry'. He is ready to repeat the magic with the hero's nickname as he previously directed movie with AlluArjun with name 'Bunny'.
Vinayak who is known for directing films with huge budget is expected to do complete justice to the subject. The story of the film was penned by Akula Siva and Vinayak was impressed with the storyline.
Super Good Movies still holds the rights to produce the film and they are in touch with the director and talks are still on.
