Director S.S.Rajamouli has ruled out chances of himself directing sequel for blockbuster hit movie Magadheera.
Rajamouli clearly says : ‘Magadheera doesn’t have a scope for part 2. Even if there is, after spending 2 years in the project, it is boring to work in the same space again‘, and further adds ‘Considering expectations of fans of the Hero, I will never make a film for them. I make movies for myself. In between I am changing genres just for change. Fans or their expectations never troubled/bothered/ pressurized me. They won’t ever‘
Magadheera completes 2 years run at Viajayalakshmi theatre in kurnool today, as it was released on July 31st 2009.
Rajamouli was also approached for making a mass movie titled ‘Gang Leader’ with Ramcharan and also for sequel of ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari‘ but he did not commit to anyone as his diary is full till 2014.
Rajamouli said that he’s open to an offer from either Pawan Kalyan or Megastar Chiranjeevi only
