Nuthan Prasad Life Journey
This Is Special Article On The Ocassion Of 66th B'Day Of Nutan Prasad
You meet any young want to be stars of today and ask them what do they want to be. An invariable answer is that they would want to be hero or heroine. Though there is nothing wrong in aspiring to be lead pair, one wonders how many heroes and heroines can the industry accomodate. That takes us back to the times when actors like Nutan Prasad were active in films.
He wanted to be an actor and play roles in cinema with no ifs and buts attached to the roles offered, which is a streak of real artiste. Nutan Prasad who was born as Tadinada Satyadurga Varaprasad at Kota Kalidhondi near Kaikaluru in Krishna district on December 12, 1945 was perhaps born only to be an actor.
Prasad was a multi-tasker from his childhood and balanced his studies with dramatics and stage shows. He continued this balancing act even after he found a job in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Hyderabad. He toured several parts of the country playing roles in drama even as he continued to do his job. His captivating performance in the drama titled 'Gaalivaana' won him thousands of fans across the state. He even got state level awards for his action in this drama. He was a part of over 300 drama performances and was an 'A' graded radio drama artiste. Like many stars who entered cinema industry from dramatics, Nutan too took his love towards films.
His first movie was 'Needaleni Aadadhi'. However 'Andhala Ramudu' released first. His voice, mannerisms, expressions and personality was instantly appealing. He lived in his roles and was so convincing as negative lead that innocent movie goers used to hate him thinking he is real life goon and bad man.
His third film 'Muthyalamuggu' was a phenomena in Telugu cinema world. His role as a lecherous man made him a household name. There was no looking back for him ever since.Nutan was mandatory in every film title that hit the screens thereafter.
Between 1976 and 1989 he acted in 360 films which is difficult to even fathom for many these days. Telugu audience who adored Nagabhushanam, Rao Gopalrao and Satyanarayana found an extension of their action in Nutan. He played a doting dad, trust worthy friend, comedy villain, laughing stock, womaniser, caring brother, funny king, power hungry politician, vulnerable father, hilarious grandfather, doubtful husband and every role a that comprises humanity.
His dialogue delivery will remain reference worthy in 'Kalpana' and his action will stay uncontested in 'Chalicheemalu'. Apparently, someone told him that if he drank beer, his cheeks would swell and so he took to alcohol and became an addict.A month before 'Chalicheemalu', he gave up drinking and declared himself 'Nutan'(new) Prasad and ensured his name was carried that way in all the titles thereafter.
His Saithan role in Bapu's 'Rajaadhiraju' is a must watch for anyone who wants to see how one lives a charecter. The song 'Kothaadevudandi....Kongotha Devudandi..' from this picture is still wet in the memories of movie goers.
Prasad's self referral dialogue 'Nutokka Jillala Andagadini' is cult. No matter who uses it and when they use this phrase, its ownership will remain with Nutan, thanks to the voice with which he resonated that dialogue in the film.
If an actor of today delivers the dialogue 'Desam Chala Klishta Paristhitulo Undi' (the country is in a critical condition today), in all probability, it will go unremembered. It took Nutan to immortalise the dialogue.
The year 1989 was terrible for him. Perhaps time didn't like the pace at which he was progressing and wanted to slow him down. On February 17th that year,he met with an accident at AVM Studios in Chennai on the sets of Rajendraprasad, Gautami and Bhanumati Ramakrishna starrer 'Bamma Maata Bangaru Baata'. His legs had to be amputated and this news came as a rude shock to film industry.
Despite the physical challenge, he continued to act sitting on the wheel chair. After his accident in 1989, till he died this week, he acted in over 110 films which reflects the will power that man had.He served as the secretary of Ravindra Bharathi, gave voice overs to movies and dubbing to senior stars. He got Bapu to sketch the iconic paintings of nine emotions (Navarasalu) which now are placed in all popular auditoriums in the state. His voice brought popularity to crime show 'Neralu Ghoralu' in ETV2 which was a rage in its own market.
He lent his voice to Gummadi for 'Ayanaku Iddaru' and Amjad Khan in 'Simhasanam'. He stayed away from controversies all through his career. He was every camp's actor. He was every movie goer's favourite. He was a brand in himself. His voice had the power to grab your attention and one could never imitate him.His histrionics were never seen before. He didn't give up even after the accident. He looked any age he wanted on screen. He acted with stars of all generations including NTR, ANR, Venkatesh, Balakrishna, Shobhanbabu and Krishna. His onscreen and offscreen life is worth emulation for it was near perfect.
He passed away On 30 March 2011 due to cardiac arrest in Hyderabad. He left a void that could never be filled. Since he is irreplacable, his action will always remain 'new' and hence Nutan is eternal Prasad.

'Veedinthe' movie Audio Review
There is no need to introduce Vikram specially though he is Aparichithudu he is familiar to everyone in south. Yuvan Shankar Raja got many fans with his latest blockbuster musical hit Panjaa in telugu. So, here is their combo 'Veedinthe' with spicy songs have a glance over the review before listening to songs. Select your favorite number.
1. Pasi Vaadi Padhamai
Voices: Haricharan
Yuvan goes for a simple composition for the beats and instrumentals are so simple. It may take some more time for the song to grab our attention. The mixing is done with excellence, but we don't find an engrossing factor with the lyrics. The song is middling and doesn't sound like a piece of work from Yuvan Shankar Raja. Haricharan does his job perfectly.
2. Laddu Laddu
Voices: Vikram, Priyadarshini, Suchitra
The music director has tried to rendering the Kuthu song in late 80s style as in his father Maestro Ilayaraja's style. Well, we can sense it with the bass, brass and the rhythmic accompaniment. In order to offer a transition, he goes for a DJ kind of work during second verse. The song will be a sure treat for the frontbenchers in theatres with Chiyaan Vikram shaking legs with hotties Reema Sen and Shriya Saran.

3. Veeradhi Veerulu
Voices: Mano, Malathi
Voices: Mano, Malathi
Much alike the previous track, Yuvan goes for the retro-style track. It's evident with the vocalizing pattern, Live Drums, etc, etc. The song should keep the audiences engrossed with the visuals and the scintillating appearance of Vikram in different get-ups.
4. Manase Paikegire
Vocals: Karthik, Renuka
Melodious pick with the singers Karthik and Renuka adding more intensity to the romantic feel. It's a situational song and the lyrics are just average. Yuvan keeps shifting between major and minor scales. The string works can be regarded as one of the best works that occurs during the second interlude.
Song of the Album: Manase Paikegire..
'Panjaa' Plus Points and Minus points|| Special Focus
Finally, Powerstar's Panjaa had hit the screens world wide and creating new records with house full collections. But mixed responses have been rotating throughout the circles. The movie is getting some negative reviews in some of the sites. So, here is the 'SPECIAL FOCUS' of this week. About Panjaa movie plus points and minus points.
Plus Points:
- First of all its Powerstar Pawankalyan. His new hair style, beard, dynamic look with his muscular body with high branded suits and blazers are simply superb. His stylish action and dialogue delivery stands as the main highlight of the movie.
- Vishnuvardhan has given the best output for this movie. It is the difficult task such a wafer thin story with interesting narration and made audience to sit in the seats with interest.
- Screenplay is the backbone of this movie. This is the new style of screen-play we have seen on the Telugu screen. In fact its true that the story is slow paced but the screen-play and lavish direction made the movie quite interesting with rich look.
- Adavi Sesh is the one of the best actors who has been gifted by Panjaa. He has bright future not only as a villain but also as an character artist. His performance as lead role in Karma movie is good too. But his action as psycho is extra-ordinary. He just lived in the character.
- Paparayudu song is good. Pawankalyan dance and Brahmanandham's expressions are fantastic. But the only person to be appreciated is director Vishnuvardhan. To be frank these days many movies has been released in which Brahmanandham's role even dominated the hero's role and made the movies to get good feedback from audience. But Vishnu handled it carefully he used Brahmi only up to the some extent. The song picturization was good and the comedy never got overdosed.
- Yuvan Shankar Raja music is fabulous. During at interval scene and climax scene the music went to peaks and increased the quality as well as range to the scenes.
- Ela Ela song is quite superb. Pawankalyan romantic expressions made us to remember Kushi movie again with his handsome look. His blazers and expressions in that song are pretty good. Even heroine is beautiful too.
Minus Points:
- Story is too weak. It resembles Powerstar's Balu story. I recently had a chat with Writer Vakkantham Vamsi. In our chat i asked him a question " Sir, sorry to say your latest movie Oosaravelli is quite similar to Gopichandh's Wanted movie. Except the memory loss concept the whole story is same. Have you noticed that?". I got a reply from him " Ya, Mr.Sundeep but i never saw Wanted movie up to know. But no problem you may find many similarities between stories. You know what There are only seven stories in the world on which all the movies are been made making slight changes in the story and casting." So, it may not be a problem of getting similarity from the stories. What an average Audion needed is good output and entertainment.
- The narration of story is some what in a slow way. Which doesn't reached the audience directly. It is not connected easily to some class of audience. The director failed to do this in convincing way.
- Editing is not good. The songs has been misplaced. The first song "Veyira Cheyi Veyira" doesn't seems to be good at its position.Even the title song is played at the end of the movie after the climax which dissapointed most of the fans. Though the producers planned to shift the song to first half care should be taken that the song should be shifted to correct scene so that the context should not change.
My Final Word:
These days audience are being stuck to the same formula of action or comedy oriented movies. They are difficult to get connected with the new style of stories. There view has to be changed. Over expectations ruined the Panjaa movie. Better try to go to the movie for watching but not for comparing with another movies and routine emotional formula movies.
Panjaa is a slow poison movie it may take some more days to connect with audience. Same situation happened for movies like Awaara, Athadu, Naa Peru Shiva these are the movies with slow and stylish screen-play.
Just try to observe Hollywood movies you will find a professionality in such movies. The actors will not be over emotional they just show the emotions of the happened situation in an moderate way but not in an aggressive way. Panjaa comes under same genre. The director showed the point what he wanted to show to the audience but not to split the heroism with too much over dialogues which are not related to the scenes and to the story. Watch Panjaa with open-minded just like an audien you will definitely enjoy it....
Note: This is a article not to hurt any one and not to promote the movie. This is just an analysis as an Audion..

Panjaa: Pawan's Power! Content Sour!!
Amidst the waiting eyes of thousands of fans, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's much hyped flick PANJAA has hit screens today. First day first show of the flick left fans with a bitter note, as per industry sources.
Generally, Pawan Kalyan is the one actor to watch out for his histrionics and mannerisms in any type of scenes. All of his flicks after KHUSHI are sinking at the BO only due to the poor content, but not Pawan's energy and style. Rather than concentrating on content, the director once again went 'too much' on the style part of Powerstar.
Though the style, visualization and first half provided an awesome entertainment for the audiences, second half is the culprit. The film became a regular 'popcorn' movie over a period of time though there were some peaks in the movie. The film commands good money in terms of trade, but will not be a milestone movie in the book of Powerstar.
