The one and only main reason for the disaster of the SHAKTHI movie is the Director MEHERAMESH himself. The worst taking, bad picturizations, awkward direction etc.,
The first half of the movie is not too bad but it has been just pulled out by the action of NTR. Due to the extraordinary action by NTR in interval sequence the little part of the movie became main highlight of the movie which affected the first half and made audience not to ran out of theatres in interval time. This increased a curiosity in audience what the hero is going to do in second half as an A1 commando. But the second half was disgusting.
This is due to the character of “Rudhra” character. In audio function Director told that we will definitely see the Sr.NTR (in Jr.NTR) in this movie. But we cannot able to see even Jr.NTR in this second half as Rudra. This is due to the hunger of making a character like Magadheera for NTR and had done this character. His physical appereance is not good as a warrior. His wig is the main drawback and the sequences are too boring but even this whole credit goes to the director itself.
Shakthi is the combination different stories being cooked together and made one story. By buying 50/- ticket we can see 5 movies on the screen. Bujjigaadu, Pokiri, Anji, Magadheera, Andhrawala. Taking at a glance expect Anji these are the movies of PuriJagannath at where MeherRamesh worked as a Assistant Director. Ileana is also misused it is not necessary to give 1 crore for Ileana for such a character in this movie though the story revolves around her her action is not good. Finally Shakthi movie made a hole for the pocket as 50/- for us and 50 crore to AshwniDutt. But the only thing is NTR with his action has tried his level best to pull the movie to safe side but direction dominated him.
Conclusion: In audio function MeherRamesh told that the story was written for some other hero and NTR listened to the story and forced him to do this movie. If it would be true NTR himself made his own wrong way in choosing this picture and created his own career’s disaster movie.
