Nadiya Moidu regrets missed opportunity in ‘Yudhdham Sei’

Actress Nadiya Moidu a.k.a. Nadia, a frontline heroine who had acted against all top heroes except Kamal Haasan in the eighties and nineties, got married when she was still in demand in the mid-nineties. After a 12-year long hiatus during when she had settled down into matrimonial life in U.S., she made a grand comeback as ‘Jeyam’ Ravi’s mother in ‘M. Kumaran S/o Mahalaxmi’ a few years back.

Bhanu prevented acting offers from reaching me

She made a decent debut in ‘Thamirabarani’ opposite Vishal and acquired the title ‘Junior Nayantara’. But luck was not in favour of Bhanu as she had to disappear from the limelight all of a sudden.

“I was initially puzzled as to why I was not getting offers despite being part of a hit movie. Only after sometime I realised that it was because of a rumour,” the ‘Azhagarmalai’ actress says.
