'3' movie Audio release in December.

After taking nation by storm with the Kolaveri Di song launch, the makers of 3 are planning to launch the entire 3 album in mid December. Actor Dhanush along with the music director Anirudh are promoting the film currently in Mumbai. Also, the mixing works for the other songs of 3 are being carried out in Mumbai studio.

Dhanush has also asked his fans on the micro-blogging site on who should release the 3 audio. “Mid December get ready for 3 audio launch. So guys, whom do you think should release the audio? How do u think the audio function should happen?," tweeted Dhanush.

3 is a romantic entertainer with Shruti Haasan as the leading lady. Aishwarya Dhanush is debuting as a director with this film. Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that the audio launch will be held on a grand scale.

Mayakkam Enna, a romantic story with Selvaraghavan's unique stamp, has Dhanush in the role of a photographer. Tollywood import Richa Gangopadhyay is the heroine, while songs composed by G V Prakash Kumar are already making their presence felt in a big way.

We learn from reliable sources that the film has recently completed its post production. 'The final copy is ready. Both Dhanush and Selva are happy with the output. This will be their fourth film together, after Thulluvadho Ilamai, Kadhal Konden and Pudupettai,' sources say.

With Richa Gangopadhyay playing the female lead, Mayakkam Enna will be the first film for Selvaraghavan, after his marriage with Geethanjali, who was one of her assistants.

Says Selva, 'No, the story is not inspired by my real life. It is about a photographer (played by Dhanush) and his experiences.' Songs composed for Mayakkam Enna by G V Prakash Kumar, have become hits already. The film is produced and distributed by Gemini Film Circuit.

Interestingly, the director is also planning something special for the audience. Revealing his plans, he tweeted: 'There will be two versions of Kaadhal En Kaadhal.. song. One will be featured with the release and the other will be added from the 2nd week.'

Says Richa, 'I am there in Mayakkam Enna, a film with Dhanush, which is directed by his elder brother and popular director Selvaraghavan. The film is about the good and bad things in the life of a couple. A cute character, I must say that Dhanush is a good co-star.'

Rajinikanth watches Mayakkam Enna

Superstar Rajinikanth watched a preview of his son-in-law Dhanush’s Mayakkam Enna on Wednesday (Nov 23) evening. The show was held exclusively for the Rajinikanth family at the Real Images preview theatre.

Superstar Rajinikanth after watching the film came out and hugged Dhanush for giving such a wonderful performance and said the movie has all ingredients to make it a big success.

Also the Superstar called director Selvaraghavan and appreciated him for the hard work involved in the film. He said that Mayakkam Enna will be one of the Trademark films in Tamil Cinema. Selva who got such encouraging words from the legend himself got overwhelmed and thanked him.

Dhanush's 'Kolaveri di' song a craze online

Kolaveri di, a song from the upcoming Tamil movie '3', sung by popular Tamil movie star Dhanush has become an internet rage. The promo of the song, which was released on November 16, became an instant hit on social networking sites for its quirky 'Tanglish' (Tamil -English) lyrics.

The promo features the actor-playback singer Dhanush, son-in-law of superstar Rajinikanth, singing the song in a studio, and composer Anirudh at the piano, while wife & the director Aishwarya Rajinikanth and co-star Shruti Hassan watch along and give suggestions.

Dhanush's "3" – A glimpse

3 is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Aishwarya Dhanush, who makes her directorial debut with the film. It stars her husband Dhanush in the lead role, along with Shruti Haasan. The film which is produced by Dhanush's father Kasthuri Raja, features music scored by newcomer Anirudh while the cinematography is handled by Velraj. The film is currently in its production stage and is expected to release in January 2012.

Aishwarya revealed that the script was written with Shruti Haasan in mind to play the female lead role but the actress was unavailable to do the film. Subsequently, Aishwarya signed on Amala Paul, after being impressed by her work in Mynaa Despite expectations that G. V. Prakash Kumar would be signed on as music composer, musician Anirudh was given a chance to make a debut as a music composer for a feature film.

This film’s press meet was held at the Star City Hotel on August 5, 2011 in Chennai. The film was originally meant to begin its first schedule in October 2011 but in a turn of events, Dhanush had free dates in August and September 2011. However Amala Paul was unavailable to start the film early and left the project, with Shruti Haasan joined the team after her Telugu film was delayed.

The songs of the movie are penned by Dhanush himself. Especially, “why this kolaveri di” song written and sung by Dhanush has caught a special place among the youth. The song alone was released before the audio launch of the other songs of the movie.

"Mayakam Enna" – Coming to mesmerize us on Nov 25th

Director Selvaraghavan and Dhanush is all happy. He is all thrilled that and confident that the movie would make it big. The movie, which stars Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay, focuses on the lifestyle of the young generation.

Dhanush will be seen in the sprightly role of aspiring photographer Karthik Subramanian. Meanwhile, the much-hyped flick has already been censored and given a UA certification.

Though initially the makers scheduled it for a December release, Selva confirmed that they have advanced it by a week. Which means the movie will hit cinema halls on November 25.

It will be the sole release on that day, in the hope of raking in a better opening. G V Prakash’s music is already a huge hit.

3 - Gets all songs penned by Dhanush

Dhanush's forthcoming '3' sees him opposite Shruti Haasan under his wife, Aishwarya Dhanush's direction. The songs have been composed by debutant Anirudh and it is now said that Dhanush has penned the lyrics for all the songs in this film!

'3' will have seven tracks and one theme music. As earlier reported Dhanush and Shruti sang a duet track in this film which is first time after many years that a lead pair have sang their own songs. 'Mayakkam Enna' from November 18, Selva's treat for fans

It will taste more as old as it gets. This is not a statement about wine, but 'Mayakkam Enna', the Dhanush-starrer directed by Selvaraghavan. The director has planned a special treat for his fans, two weeks after the release of the film.

Thanks to the impact of 'Kaadhal En Kaadhal....' song in 'Mayakkam Enna' composed by G V Prakash Kumar, Selvaraghavan has decided to include it twice in the film. One during the release and the other version after a couple of weeks post its release.

Revealing this to his fans, Selvaraghavan expressed, "There will be two versions of 'Kaadhal En Kaadhal...' song. One will be featured with the release and the other will be added from the 2nd week." Confirming the release of 'Mayakkam Enna' on November 18, he says, "Hope you all will like it."

With Richa Gangopadhyay playing the female lead, the film has Dhanush as a photographer. This is fourth time for the brothers to join hands together, after the super hits 'Thulluvadho Ilamai', 'Kadhal Konden' and 'Pudupettai'. Hence both are thrilled about 'Mayakkam Enna'. 

Chimbu's Mareesan is a fantasy thriller

Dhanush who was now busy in Shooting 3 and Mayakkam Enna is expected to sign Maareesan of Chimbudevan's direction. A lot is being spoken about Chimbudevan's forthcoming biggie, 'Maareesan', a period fantasy thriller. Dhanush plays the lead role in this period film that boasts off a huge budget. Recently rumours were sparked off that the movie changed hands to another big banner.

And now there is buzz that Actor Simbu will play the lead in this film! While asking about this to director Chimbudevan, he rubbished these as mere rumours, saying, "No it's nothing of the sort, and i am busy with the Maareesan pre-production work on the film which is taking shape at a brisk pace. We'll start work on the shooting after we make an official announcement about the film to the press."

Dhanush’s Mayakkam Enna releasing on November 11

The Mayakkam Enna release postponed news made Selvaraghavan and Dhanush fans upset. In way of cheering them the latest buzz about Mayakkam Enna is that the movie will be releasing on November 11, 2011. Due to bad health condition Selva postponed the release of the movie.

While asking about the journey of Mayakkam Enna, He replied that, “It was a pleasant journey, while it was a very painful journey for Aayirathil Oruvan. In the case of Aayirathil Oruvan, I was not sure what kind of a journey I was undertaking because it was a road untraveled.

Several times I ended up in unknown destinations. One might be expecting a valley in front but what one saw in front was a hill! One never knew where the road took you. On the other hand, the journey I undertook in Mayakkam Enna was already travelled".
