The actor had got the "Best Actor" award for his Mani Ratnam directed Raavanan.

Vikram praised Mani Ratnam for giving him a memorable role in Raavanan.

"Mani sir seemed to have reserved his most memorable character for me and I'm grateful to him for having faith in me to pull it off," says Vikram
