Ramanaidu to produce Chiru's 150th Film

The entire Tollywood along with millions of Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s fans are anxiously waiting for the actor’s 150th film announcement and to add the excitement more, Movie Moghul Dr.D Ramanaidu has evinced his interest in producing a film with Chiranjeevi in the lead.

Ramanaidu who has already produced a super hit film Sangharshana with Chiru long back under his Suresh Productions recently visited Mega Star and has discussed on the film. The actor turned politician is said to have reacted positively and Ramanaidu informed to media that they are planning to donate the money they make with the film for a social service. Currently, they are looking for the right script.

It is worth mentioning that directors Ram Gopal Varma and Puri Jagannadh had showed their interest in wielding the megaphone for Chiranjeevi film.

Rajamouli Denies Directing Chiranjeevi

Recently Megastar Chiranjeevi met Rajamouli on Eega movie sets and had a hearty talk with the sensational director. He also appreciated the director’s hard work and dedication. This gesture from the megastar ignited rumors that Chiranjeevi asked Rajamouli to direct his 150th movie.

Rajamouli quickly responded to these rumors and has put an end to them saying that he is not directing Chiranjeevi. He said that his next movie after Eega would be with Prabhas. “News bout Chiranjeevi Garu offering me to direct his 150th film are completely false.my next film after eega is with Prabhas,” Rajamouli stated.

So the doubts over Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie director are still on and there is no one zeroed in at the moment. Chiranjeevi and his camp are waiting to rope in the best for this movie as it would be the prestigious ever film in Tollywood history.

Sri Devi Denies Acting In Chiru's 150th Movie

Here is a disappointing news for the Telugu cine goers, who thought that Sridevi would make her comeback to the Telugu film industry. The actress, who was in Tirupathi recently, has denied the rumours about her re-entry to the Tollywood.

The actress, who visited Tirupathi last Saturday along with her husband-producer Boney Kapoor, was spotted outside the temple after having darshan of Lord Venkateshwara. Later, the actress clarified the rumours, which claimed that she will be acting in Chiranjeevi's 150th movie.

The 48-year-old has said that she has no plans of returning to the Tollywood in the near future. Talking about her visit, Sridevi said that she was coming to the hill shrine after four years and happy with the darshan.

Meanwhile, Sridevi is returning to films with upcoming Bollywood movie English Vinglish, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is directed by Gauri Shinde

The waiting is over for 150th movie

There can be only one Chiranjeevi. In dance, there have been and are many technically perfect dancers in the Indian film industry but none could bring in the perfect rhythm and grace that Chiranjeevi did. No other actor could whip up the kind of mass hysteria that he does on the eve of his film’s release. The announcement of his return to films for his 150th film too sent his fans into a frenzy and now they are in a festive mood as the charming actor has begun to make his presence felt just when the Telugu film industry was feeling his absence. His 150th film titled Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy will revolve around the Indian freedom struggle and would in all probability be his last, as he gears up to take on more important responsibilities as a politician.

Nursing a sore throat that he’d got from tasting teertham from many Ganesh pandals, Chiranjeevi laughs and remarks that it isn’t quite correct to use the term ‘back to films‘. “There is a difference between saying the girl has `come to her parents home’ and the girl has left her hubby and returned to her parents’ home.”

In a relaxed mood on Saturday morning, the actor recounts his experiences on his entry in politics. He actually sees a similarity between his debuts in the political and film fields. “Keeping the winning and losing aspects aside, I feel it has been a wonderful start. My first film Praanam Khareedu was a flop but that didn’t stop me from becoming successful. So it is in politics. The emotional turbulence I had gone through, the challenges I took up at that age, the debut in a different alien area… yet the journey itself was enjoyable. Now I don’t see 18 seats as a number, I see people’s affection, faith and the trust they reposed on me, I see responsibility. I may be a veteran in films but I’m still young in politics. Stardom didn’t come to me easily and I know it will come in politics too when the time is right. I’m going through a feeling of enthusiasm and struggle in politics just as I did in my first few films.”

Don’t people say politics is a drama without make up? Chiranjeevi avers that in every field there is an amount of negativity but he prefers to draw only the positivesfrom his experiences. “I’ve learnt, evolved through the bitter experiences, trained to live through it. If you wish to see hatred, you’ll see only that. I’ve derived strength through my honesty. There are many people in good positions without vested interests seeking politics as a wonderful platform to serve people. I took up films to make a living, but now I want to live for the people. Politics is not a necessity, it is a boon. If one day people hurled eggs at me, they also showered me with flowers; after rain there is always sunshine.”

Chiranjeevi is looking more handsome than ever, having lost ten kilos in two years. The glow is back on his face and he looks content. He bares his heart, “The smile and contentment you see is because of my daughter. She is back with me; I was agonised to see her marry a wrong person. The fact that she realised the mistake and regretted it makes me happy. Just when I thought everything was going fine, I was jolted out of my complacency. I’ve seen my life dip in the last few years. The emotional turbulence made me introspect and analyse. I had to wait for the dust to settle but for that I needed patience and a positive attitude. Also one got to be surrounded by positive people, without these people I would have lost the opportunity to move ahead.”

The actor says sternly that it is not in his nature to distance people or nurse grudges;he had forgiven a lot of people. “Those who left me are getting back now… my friends, my staff. The experience has made me emotionally strong, I’ve learnt to take it easy, I’m not going to let people affect me, they cannot make me cry. You know your strength only when someone hits you. Now I know that I’m strong enough to be in politics.”

Chiranjeevi starts dance practice for 150th movie

With each passing day, the time is approaching for Chiranjeevi to make his comeback for doing his 150th film. Now, it is heard from close circles of Chiru that he has begun his own form of fitness. Well, sources say Chiru has begun practicing dance so that it also becomes his exercise.

A close person of Chiru revealed “Given his age, Chiranjeevi doesn’t want to take the risk of hitting the gym or pulling his muscles. Instead, he is becoming fit by satisfying his passion. Every evening, he is spending one hour doing dance practice. Even Cherry who saw few times is feeling great looking at daddy’s steps.”

He added “Looking at the way Chiranjeevi has been doing his dance practice so religiously, it is high time for him to do the 150th film. Now that the momentum is on and even the external factors are also cooperating, he can score a hit and then exit gracefully with good records.”

Chiranjeevi and Shankar – Bharateeyudu 2 ?

Director Shankar has been preparing script for a sequel to his 1996 hit movie Bharateeyudu.

Kamal Hassan who starred in the first part is now busy for next two years and so is rajnikanth.

So, Shankar is left with an option to work with Chiranjeevi now.

Chiru, who was supposed to do “Oke Okkadu” in 1999 with shankar, but dropped it, has requested shankar to direct a movie for him when they met in rajnikanth’s Robot music release last year.

Shankar will become free from tamil movie ‘Nanban’(remake of 3 idiots) by next month and is thinking of reviving his dream project Bharateeyudu 2.

Chiru has also hinted that his 150th movie will go on floors within two months.

Film circles are speculating that chiru’s 150th movie will be with shankar only.

Chiru’s 150th film to release on his next birthday

Chiranjeevi has finally announced that his 150th film is going to release on his next birthday August 22, 2012. He made this announcement earlier today in PRP office where he met his party members. Recently, his son, Ram Charan had announced that he would be producing Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. Although, details of the director and other cast and crew members isn’t clear yet, sources close to the actor say that the work on the film will begin in couple of months. Since Chiranjeevi is an active member of Congress now, it’ll be a tough task to juggle between politics and films. Let’s see how Megastar Chiranjeevi manages this time since a similar situation had arisen last year as well when Charan announced that Chiranjeevi would make a comeback to films.

Chiranjeevi promises 150th movie before 2012 vinayaka chaviti

Megastar Chiranjeevi promised to his fans that he would release his 150th movie before next year’s ‘Vinayaka Chaviti‘.

He participated in ganapati pooja at his ex-PRP office in jubilee hills, hyderabad.

On this occassion chiru wished all his fans ‘Happy Vinayaka Chaviti‘ and said that by next year on same date, people will decide what will be his position in politics.

He also showed willfullness to tour along with PCC chief botsa satyanarayana if congress highcommand permits him.

Ramcharan confirmed to produce Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie

Ramcharan Tej declared last year that he would be producing his dad Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie.

He has also registered his own “Leo projects pvt ltd.” banner for his purpose.

Now, nagababu has confirmed the news that Charan will be official producer of Megastar’s 150th movie which would start this year.

Chiranjeevi has also hinted that he is ready to act again and is looking for right director to project his new political image after joining congress.

With charan confirmed to work with Vamsi Paidipally for Ghanta Srinivas Rao’s production after Rachcha, V.V.Vinayak seems to be the only director who is available to handle the mega movie.

Though Puri Jagan and Rajamouli want to direct megastar, their diaries are full for next 2 years.

He has promised that he will start his 150th movie soon and his son Ramcharan Tej will act in a special guest role in this movie.

Earlier when Chiranjeevi declared that he will quit movies permanently, Charan tweeted that he is jealous about Abhishek Bachchan who danced and acted with his father Amitabh Bachchan.

So, megastar chiru has decided to fulfill his son’s and fans wish in his 150th movie.

Chiranjeevi spoke on eve of his 56th birthday celebrations and said that he is looking for a director who can project him in right way so that his present political image and relation with congress party or with fans will not get hurt.

Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie is Mythological ?

Megastar Chiranjeevi is now contemplating on selecting subject for his 150th movie.
With senior heroes like Nagarjuna and Balakrishna inclining towards periodical and mythological movies, Chiranjeevi is also thinking on same lines and feel that instead of dealing with social message oriented subjects, he should do a mythological movie.
Infact chiru has never attempted a full length mythological movie, except for his Lord Siva character in Sri Manjunatha movie.

Puri Jagannadh drops Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie !

Puri Jagannadh made a public announcement that if Megastar Chiranjeevi rethinks on his decision of quitting movies, he would write and direct his 150th movie.
But now he seems to have dropped the idea of working with megastar and concentrating on his other projects.
It is clear by his upcoming projects that he is no going to work with Chiranjeevi.
Puri Jagan is planning to make Mr.Businessman with Abhishek Bachchan in hindi and with Mahesh Babu in telugu.
After this, he is planning Idiot – 2 with Raviteja.
For these 3 movies, he would take atleast 1.5 – 2 years and nowhere he seems to be interested in chiru’s 150th movie.
For his sake, chiru declared that he would rethink on his decision to quit and also got assurance from Big B, Amitabh Bachchan that he would act in special role.
After not being included in union cabinet and no state cabinet expansion in near future, chiru’s political future seems uncertain and it would be better if he acts in a movie meanwhile, so that he can get closer to his megafans again.
And for this, V.V.Vinayak seems to be the only option for chiru.
Nagababu held a pressmeet and announced that anyone coming up with suitable story for megastar’s 150th movie will be rewarded.
