It’s a highly private affair and Chiranjeevi has sent the access cards and car passes to all the invitees for stepping into the farmhouse for the engagement ceremony. Ram Charan's engagement shifted to Prathap C Reddy's farmhouse

It's official that, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan's and Upasana Kamineni are getting engaged on December 1st. 

However, the venue for the engagement has been changed and it's surely not gonna take place at the much hyped Domakonda fort. The reason behind this is, the fort which has been built in the 18th Century is still under renovation. Though it was expected to be in shape by the time of engagement, due to some reasons the work got delayed and eventually both the families have been in a situation to choose other venue.

Upasana's forefathers were Domakonda Samsthan rulers and her grand-father Umapathi Rao is the official owner of Domakonda fort. As the fort was built long time back, it's been a tough task and a time consuming one to make it available for the event. 

Now, the venue has been shifted to Prathap C Reddy's farmhouse near Chilukur which is getting ready to host the grand gala event. Whatever may be the reason, Ram Charan and Upasana missed the chance to get engaged in the historical fort. Let's hope the new venue is nothing less than Domakonda

Mega Power Star Ram Charan Tej’s engagement with his sweetheart Upasana Kamineni will take place on December 1st. The engagement ceremony date has been confirmed by Megastar Chiranjeevi himself. Chiranjeevi and his wife called on the Governor to inform him about the engagement date.

The ceremony will be held in a grand and gala way and the talk is that the ceremony will take place in Hyderabad at a farm house belonging to Upasana’s family.

Ramcharan – Upasana engagement cost 4 crores !

Ramcharan Tej and Upasana Kamineni’s engagement venue is getting ready.

Its an old fort, Domakonda gadi, about 105 km from hyderabad.

This belongs to upasana’s grandfather and is now being repaired and decorated with cost of Rs.4 crores.

According to upasana’s family, engagement will be done in december 2011.

For this special event, already they’ve prepared a menu with special items.

Famous cooks from nellore will be called for non-veg items and cooks from east godavari will cook vegetarian food.

After knowing about this place, it has become a tourist spot for many in nizamabad district and also for megafans.

Ramcharan – Upasana engagement in first week of december

Ramcharan and Upasana’s engagement will be performed in ‘Domakonda gadi’ during first week of december 2011.

This was revealed by Charan’s would-be father-in-law Anil Kumar Kamineni.

Anil Kamineni is state’s archery association president and he himself is a good archer.

Along with his father Umapathirao Kamineni, he is surveying the repair works done at his ancestral palace which is situated at about 100 kms away from hyderabad, towards nizamabad.

The village domakonda is 4 kms away from national highway.

Anilkumar said that even marriage is planned to be performed at same venue in january 2012 but it will be decided after discussing with bridegroom’s father Chiranjeevi.

The Kamineni family have applied to archeology department to develop their old palace as tourist spot for future.

Last week Charan and Upasana paid a secret visit to this palace to overlook the preparations going on for the big event.

Upasana is now taking keen interest in charan’s latest movie “Rachcha” too as it would release just around their wedding.
