Arjun as the villain in Maniratnam movie

Mani Ratnam is doing a romantic love story as his next film. The latest we hear is that Maniratnam is looking to cast Action king Arjun as the villain in this film. Mani Ratnam is introducing veteran actor Karthik's son Gautham in this venture and Radha’s second daughter ‘Tulasi’ is going to pair with Gautham.

It is expected to be an urban love story and will be completely shot in cosmopolitan cities with a major portion being filmed in London. Cinematographer Santosh Sivan and music director A R Rahman are sharing their parts in this movie. It would be a bilingual that will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.  

Mankatha will grace theatres for August 15
