Yesteryear’s successful heroine Radha introduced her elder daughter Karthika with 'Josh' opposite Naga Chaitanya. Though the film failed to ring the Box Office in Telugu, her Tamil film 'Ko' which was dubbed into Telugu as 'Rangam' was a runaway hit and successfully ran 100 days and recently the film had celebrated the 100-days function at Tirupati with Mega Star Chiranjeevi as chief guest.
Now, Radha is showing the way for the entry into films to her younger daughter Tulasi too. Though Tulasi is still very young, ace director Maniratnam had decided to introduce her to films and chosen for his upcoming flick to be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil languages.
Radha was forced to bow her head to the ace director though she is not very interested to introduce Tulasi at this young age. But the director convinced that Tulasi had all the qualities of the heroine of the film.
In fact, Kamal Hassan's younger daughter Akshara was first selected but Tulasi replaced her. Earlier it was said that, Akshara Haasan and Gautham is pairing in Maniratnam’s next project. But now the hot news is Radha’s second daughter ‘Tulasi’ is going to pair with Karthik’s son Gautham in ManiRatnam’s upcoming project.
This film is completely a love story revolving around the fisher’s folk. The fresh debuting pair is not yet signed the papers for the director. If they do that it will be history getting repeated for the second time around. Because once Karthik and Radha was both introduced in 'Alaigal Oyivadhilai'. Now their kids are going to pair.
The female lead role for Maniratnam’s next project is not confirmed till now. It will be confirmed only before the first look of the movie only.
