Ajith fans have proved it again. Right from the moment the booking for 'Mankatha', the 50th of film of their Thala, began, they started thronging to cinema halls where the movie will be screened, to get tickets for first day.
Theatre sources say the response is so huge and they are so happy. Even online booking is witnessing a history of sorts, it is said. "Ajith is always referred to as king of opening. It has been proved once again," they add.
Sun Pictures, which is distributing 'Mankatha' in association with Radhika Sarathkumar's Radaan Media, is releasing the film in over 300 theatres in Tamil Nadu. "Since there are two holidays this week (Ramzan and Vinayaka Chathurthi), no doubt that the movie would see a gala opening," according to trade circles.
