Magadheera Complete Records


Producer Allu Aravind released the film on July 31 2009; hit 1200 screens across the globe, the biggest ever release for a Telugu film.[16] The film released with 21 prints in 21 centers including Toronto, New Jersey, Chicago, Bay Area, Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Boston in North America, the first time for a Telugu film to be screened in the Americas. In UK it was released in Southall and Eastham. It was also released with huge publicity in Australia , New Zealand and Canada. The much-hyped, big ticket flick film has opened to fabulous first week collections. The film has grossed more than Rs 20 crore in the first week of its release with approximate region-wise break-up being Nizam (Rs 7crore), Rayalaseema (Rs 5 crore) and Andhra (Rs 8 crore) and is being screened in 1000-odd theatres all over the state. According to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, “Magadheera” was released in around 40 theatres. The film has an unprecedented big openings in
 karnataka and has grossed more than Indian Rupee symbol.svg 5 crore.It is the biggest blockbuster of Telugu cinema industry so far. This film broke all records and ran for an uninterrupted 100 plus days, and became the highest grossing Telugu film earning around Indian Rupee symbol.svg 100 crore beating the previous record of Indian Rupee symbol.svg 40 crore by Pokiri.
