It’s now official! Superstar Rajinikanth’s Robo has earned big dividends to producers of the film Sun Pictures.
Sun Pictures has produced the film, which is reportedly close to Rs 132 crores. After completing more than 100 days, the production made an officially statement regarding the figures at the box office. Robo (Endhiran) has made revenue of Rs 179 crore as per the fiscal report.
The film was released in 2400 screens worldwide. According to one of the leading newspaper Economic Times, the film holds 30% of Sun Pictures revenue in the third quarter of 2010. Chief Operating Officer of Sun TV, Ajay Vidyasagar has revealed Sun TV has earned 50% increase in the revenues i.e. 607.06 core during December 2010 quarter. The company made a net profit of 48% i.e. 225.5 crore.
