The Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company is in the news with its new announcement of new2011 Honda CBR250R, a sporty, fun, lightweight and affordable bike. The news of the release was announced by American Honda Motor Company’s Powersports Division. The company noted that this bike is designed for those entering the sport of motorcycling.
The all-new 2011 CBR250R brings a fresh take on the fun side of motorcycling, one that especially suits riders entering the sport. The bike comes with an extremely efficient 249cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine. This all-new design features a sophisticated four-valve DOHC cylinder head, engine counterbalance and fuel injection.
The CBR250R’s single-cylinder engine generates a broad torque curve with peak torque generated at an easily accessible 7000 rpm. Peak horsepower kicks in at 8500 rpm. The company has incorporatedProgrammed Fuel Injection or PGM-FI that continuously monitors several variables to ensure the correct fuel mixture for the existing riding and atmospheric conditions.
The CBR250R, the all new sporty and fun bike from Honda Motor with a base weight of 359 pounds will suite all you needs and lets you experience the different faces of motorcycling. Even though the company has not revealed the price, it is expected that the bike will be available at an affordable price. The new bike which is also available with ABS comes in different color variables – Metallic Black and Red/Silver. The Honda CBR250R will be available in the outlets from the Spring of 2011.
