With the BMW X3 E83 nearing the end of its lifecycle, this “colorful beast” is being considered by the Bavarian State Police as a highway patrol car. Powered by a 218 hp turbocharged six-cylinder diesel engine, this specially designed BMW X3 will come with an whole array of high-signal LED lights for better detectability. With a boot that comes loaded with LED lights in both open and closed state, the BMW x3 was chosen for its larger interior, and positive feedback from other police departments that have used the BMW X3 before.
