Kajal is growing as a big star in Tamil Nadu. In fact, she is currently doing a film with Suriya in the lead.

In Telugu, she needs no introduction as she is one of the prime contenders for the number one spot. Her "Businessman" is due for release in January and she will be seen with Magadheera Charan.

The sixth schedule was held at Chettinad Hospital. It is said that the locations of Russia play a key role in Maatraan. KV Anand has carefully chosen some of the beautiful locales to fit the storyline, says a source.

Amala paul teams up with Anushka.

Earlier news that Amala paul replaces Anushka in Singham-2 is false. Anushka is the main leading actress in that movie and Amala Paul is going to be the another leading heroine of this movie.

Director Hari is now busy in  finalizing the script of the film. He informed that it’s two-heroine subject film and Anushka has already signed in as one of the leads. Though it’s not confirmed officially Amala Paul would be the other heroine, informs inner sources. Interestingly, Anushka and Amala have shared the screen in Vikram's  Deiva Thirumagal ('Nanna') earlier.

'This is the biggest hit of my career' says Surya..

Success became slave to Kollywood hero 'Suriya'. His every movie has been hitting with a record collections at box-office and gifting memorable hits to South Indians. Now he is thrilled and happy with the terrific response for his latest release 7th Sense directed by Murugadoss. Suriya has addressed the media in Chennai and celebrated the success of the film and further thanked audiences and the media for this good support.

“7th Sense is pulling out unique crowds to theaters both in India and Overseas and the response is being tremendous. I also wanted to thank media for supporting me all through my career and also pointing out any flaws which made me to get better,”  says Suriya.

Now Surya is busy in shooting of his latest movie 'Maatran' under the direction of K.V.Anand. Kajal is the female lead of this movie.

Maatraan team returns from Latvia

Surya starrer Maatraan directed by K V Anand of Ayan and KO Fame have been shooting in the Latvia region of Europe quiet sometime.

Reason behind choosing this Hot spot, is that the location is filled with some dark green natural tones. As we all know that K V Anand always prefers the best locations for his songs.

So with the music of Harris Jeyaraj along with the romance between Surya and Kaja Agarwal it’s going to be Visual treat for the fans.

Surya with Anushka and Amala Paul:Singam 2

Singam is ready for the second round. Yes the director Hari is ready to start Singam 2 with 7am Arivu Surya. And the latest buzz is that who will play the female lead role in Singam 2. Is it Anushka or Amala Paul. Earlier it was said that Anushka is doing the female lead role in Singam 2. Then it was said that Amala Paul was going to do the lead role. Now it’ was said that the two hot ladies are going to pair up with 7am Arivu star Surya.

Hari says that, "It is a two-heroine subject and we have signed Anushka as one of the heroines," says Hari, who had earlier worked with Surya in movies such as 'Aaru', 'Vel' and 'Singam'. "The film will go on floors very soon," the movie maker says.

After Deiva Thirumagal, Anushka and Amala Paul are sharing the screen. This will also be a great treat for the audience.

Suriya-Bellamkonda film official

It is now official that Bellamkonda Suresh would produce a film with Tamil actor Suriya.  The actor was in Hyderabad yesterday to promote 7th Sense when he was quizzed about the long-announced Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual.

Without going into the details, he said that he will act in a film to be produced by Suresh.

The ambitious producer is keen on conquering new market, it would seem.  He is going great guns in Telugu with one too many hits in a row.  He has evinced keen interest in acquiring the dubbed rights of big-budget Tamil films.

The details of the film are expected to be out sooner than later.

AR Murugadoss’s 7am Arivu seems to lack expectations

Surya starrer 7am Arivu came out with huge expectations, but it got a mixed response from the audience. The film touched many unknown aspects of Tamil cinema like Bodhidharma, DNA etc…

We can appreciate the efforts put on this movie. But a director like A.R.Murugadoss who got high standards should have concentrated more on the Screenplay and Music of the film. Since he has got a Big team like Red Giant Movies, Harris Jeyaraj and others. But the concentration that he has showed on researching about Bodhidharma, leads to a lack in other functional areas of the film. It looks amateur for a director of his capacity, who gave Classic Hits like Ramana, Gajini, Dheena. Even his fans who expected a blockbuster finally sighed and felt letdown.

This movie may not be a great success, but let us hope that the next project of Murugadoss shapes out well and brings back his true identity.

7am Arivu screened for Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth

The director of Suriya’s latest movie 7am Arivu AR Murugadoss has arranged a special show for Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan yesterday. The actor’s elder daughter Shruti Hassan plays the female lead in the film.

On the other hand, producer of the film Udayanidhi Stalin invited Super Star Rajinikanth for a special show and the big hearted star obliged the producer’s request. It is learnt that Rajini liked the film a lot and had a long chat with Suriya after the movie. The movie received mixed reviews from the audience.

According to our sources, Rajinikanth is also keen to watch Shahrukh Khan’s magnum opus Ra.One very soon.

Harris Jayaraj's music and Ravi K Chandran's cinematography are the movie's added strengths, says Murugadoss. "7aum Arivu will make each and every Tamilian to be proud of themselves," he adds.

On his part, Suriya says, "It is a take-off of history, that of Bodhi Dharma, a Buddhist monk who hailed from Kanchipuram. Son of a Pallava king in the 6th century, he later became a monk and preached the teachings of Buddha."

"He is still worshipped in China and other parts of the world. But we in India, especially Tamil Nadu, are not even aware of him. Hopefully 7aum Arivu would bridge the gap," he adds.

7am Arivu story revealed by AR Murugadoss

The much awaited movie 7am Arivu is ready for hitting the screen on this October 26, 2011. Surya and Shruti Haasan are playing the lead roles. And especially the time machine also playing the lead role.

AR Murugadoss revealed the storyline of 7am Arivu. The story line is about the Bodhidharma, who was the Pallava king of 6th Century. He went to China and spread our tradition among them.

This movie will definitely show the Tamil tradition to the world. It’s unbelievable that part of the movie intersects with 1500 years old language. It’s not only a Scientific-fiction based movie but also a tradition based movie. The movie also says about the Tamil history.AR Murugadoss who linked the history with the present era using the concept of Time Machine.

The story is based on the historic relationship between India and China which unfolds to the hidden truths around the form of martial arts known as Kung Fu, which according to a few historians originated to India.

The story of “7am Arivu” is based on the theme of time traveling and the movie revolves around a Time Machine. This time machine is invented by Shruti Hassan as she plays the role of a scientist in the movie. Her invention of time machine unveils the hidden truths including the Tamil culture and its ancient connection with the Chinese tradition. As the bad guys try to steal this invention but are stopped by Surya who will be playing three different roles in this movie one is scientist and another two are an aggressive monk and a circus stunt artist.

A pallava king from Kanchipuram went to China in order to preach Buddhism and he stayed there at the Shoalin Monastery and preached Buddhist doctrines. At that time he trained local people in the art of Varmakkalai. It is said that this art underwent many changes and is now known as Shaolin Kung Fu or boxing. Even today people in China worship Bodhidharma. Because of this, there will be some dialogues and song in Cantonese languages.

7am Arivu star Surya’s next is Maatraan

After completing the promotions for his forthcoming film, 7am Arivu, Suriya is off to Russia to shoot for K V Anand's Maatraan. Kajal Agarwal opposites Surya in Maatraan. Harris Jeyaraj is composing the music for this film. Expecting that this movie will hit the screens during the summer of 2012.

Some tough stunt sequences will be shot from Russia, reveal insiders. With KV Anand getting us to enjoy some breathtaking locales in his previous films, the fans of the director can sure look forward to some spell binding locales in his 'Maatraan' too.

Only 7th Sense to release for Diwali in Tollywood

Tollywood is going to miss a notable straight release for this Diwali. The films which were previously slated for Diwali release are being pushed back to later dates. Mogudu, which seemed to be a sure shot Diwali release, was postponed to November and Sri Rama Rajyam too is scheduled for November release.

With straight films backing out of race, it is advantage for dubbed film 7th Sense. This film has Suriya in the lead and is directed by Murugadoss. High expectations are riding on this film and it will surely have a good response in Telugu too.

Having no competition from the straight releases would do a world of good to 7th Sense. There is Shahrukh Khan’s film Ra.One which is also being dubbed in Telugu with the same name. This film too is scheduled for Diwali release.

Suriya's next with Venkat Prabhu?!

There are multiple versions doing rounds about the next film of Venkat Prabhu, post the gigantic success of this director's last venture, Ajith-starrer 'Mankatha'. And one of them claims he would work with Suirya for his forthcoming project, which would get soon kick-start!

"Suirya was thoroughly impressed with a one-liner narrated by Venkat Prabhu and is game for working with him.  Venkat Prabhu's 'Mankatha' is emerging the blockbuster of the year, with box-office reports claiming never-before figures. The film has been declared a super hit in all centers and is still running strong, exactly a month after its release. Surya has agreed in principle to work with him. It looks like the director would have to wait for a while before the film can actually go on the floor. However, it may take some time for the actor to start the film, as Surya’s 7am Arivu is yet to release and he has to honor his earlier commitments as he is busy with Maatraan and would do a film with Hari after that," sources say.

Currently, Venkat Prabhu is off to Malaysia with Premgi and friends for a holiday, possibly to celebrate the success of Mankatha.
