Mega Star Chiranjeevi will be launching his own 24 hour news channel on August. Chiranjeevi was busy in setting up his channel and he had completed some formalities for the channel to go on air in July or August. TV9 Swapna, will be leading latest news channel of Chiranjeevi.
Now the latest news is that, Chiranjeevi's news channel tentatively titled Power News. If everything falls into place, it is expected to be launched on Chiranjeevi’s birthday (August 22).
Chiranjeevi want to create his own brand image in Politics also. Politicians like YS Jagan, Chandra Babu Naidu and KCR have their own news channels which supports them. Where as Chiranjeevi has stake in MAA TV, which is an entertainment channel, but not news channel. The new News channel would help in supporting Chiranjeevi's political career.
Ram Charan was one of the directors for MaaTV. But now the buzz is that he stepped down to become director for his father, Chiranjeevi’s official news channel.
