Amitabh Bachchan was on cloud nine when he came to know that his daughter-in-law was pregnant. He immediately announced the big news on Twitter and in no time the news was picked up several national media channels. In his tweet on Tuesday, Big B said, "T 410-News news news!! I am going to become a grandfather..Aishwarya expecting..so happy and thrilled!!!" The news puts an end to the ordeal which Bachchan family had to go through over the last few years. Few months ago a Mumbai based tabloid had published a report saying that Aishwarya Rai had stomach tuberculosis and hence she may never be able to conceive. The report created a stir and the Bachchans even sued the newspaper for such allegations which they had vehemently denied back then.
In the recent times, rumours were abuzz that Aishwarya Rai might be hiding her pregnancy. The sudden increase in weight which was quite obvious during her appearance in Cannes sparked the rumours and they have now been confirmed with Big B’s tweet. Aishwarya Rai is 37 years old and Abhishek is 35. On the other hand, we wonder what would happen to all the films which she’s currently part of including Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine which has been making news ever since it was announced earlier this year.
