Udhayanidhi first decided to debut with Shankar Nanban

Producer turned actor Udhayanidhi Stalin has first decided to make his debut with director Shankar's Nanban. He wanted to do the role played by Madhavan in the Hindi version when Shankar planned to do the remake.

By moving a step forward he even requested the producers of Nanban to cast him in one of the lead role but he later changed his mind. It was Udhayanidhi's dream to make his big screen
