Vijay recently signed Mani Ratnam next

Kollywood rumour mills are now churning out the news that ace director Mani Ratnam will direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay in a complete action entertainer. It is a well known fact that Mani Ratnam recently signed Vijay to play the lead role in his onscreen adaptation of the classic novel 'Ponniyin Selvan'. 

But due to budget constraints the project couldn't take off. Now the latest buzz is that
