Vijaykanth greets Chief Minister Jayalalithaa
In this November 2004 file photo, actor Vijaykant greets Chief Minister Jayalalithaa during a felicitation function in Chennai. The DMDK, which the actor founded in 2005, won 29 seats out of the 41 seats it contested under the Jayalalithaa-led AIADMK alliance in the just concluded Assembly polls.
