Ramcharan was one of the directors for MaaTV but now he stepped down to become director of his father, Chiranjeevi’s official news channel.
Chiranjeevi will be launching his 24 hour news channel around july-august and right now he is in USA, completing some formalities, for the channel to go on air in July or August.
“With most channels biased towards one party or the other, we felt the need for a channel that would lay stress on unbiased and fair reporting. We haven’t finalised the name and other crew members, but it will be done soon,” says a person working for this news channel.
“There is no rivalry between a general entertainment channel and a news channel since they are two different segments,” he adds.
Veda Vyas, who was active member in Prajarajyam, is helping Ramcharan towards establishment of this news channel
